Wei Yu from Chengdu, China

I first came to Sydney in August 2000.

I never forget the first day of my arrival.  My visa grant was delayed, so I am two weeks late for the enrolment at U Sydney.

ACAE arranged for me to stay at their student apartments close to Chinatown.  They also asked a senior student to go with me to the bank and to the Faculty for late enrolment.  I had all important things done in just one day!

Ms Ng and other ACAE staff often talked to me about choosing my major and methods of studying. I felt they really cared for me and appreciated their guidance.  I was also lucky to work as a part time staff at ACAE in my undergraduate years.

During the past few years, there had been many occasions when I could not do without ACAE’s assistance.  ACAE is just like a big family.  They not only help us to overcome the difficulties interna-tional students might encounter since beginning the process of applying to study in Australia, they also take care of us after our arrival.  I sincerely recommend ACAE to everyone.

Darren Cheng from Hong Kong

In 1990, ACAE helped me to come to Sydney to study English & senior high school in Sydney.  Although my results at HSC were not good enough to gain entry to any university in Sydney, ACAE managed to find a university in Melbourne for me.  After a year or so, I returned to Sydney and studied at University of Western Sydney and eventually graduated with a BCom at Central Queensland University’s Sydney campus.  I am very grateful to ACAE for making all these arrangements for me to complete a degree of my interest.

With her deep understanding of the education system and the needs of individual student, Ms Ursula Ng, the Director of ACAE, helped smooth the path for me to graduate from the University.

After the completion of my degree, I successfully obtained permanentresidence in Australia with the help of Dr Shum’s MigrationConsultancy, the sister company of ACAE, and have since become an Australian citizen.

I sincerely thank Ms Ursula Ng and Dr Shum, as well as all of ACAE’s advisors for the help they have given me.

Hsu Chi-Hao from Taiwan

In June 1998, with the help of my agent ACAE, I arrived in Australia to further my Study.  I undertook a 20-week English course followed by Year 11 at a private high school.

During my high school years, I encountered many problems and was very depressed.  I would not have stayed on without the great supports from ACAE staff.

I finally completed a diploma in business before returning home.

When I recall the past few years, I realise how luck I was having ACAE, an experienced and reputable agent, to help me.  Without their assistance, I may never have completed my studies.

ACAE’s comments: Hsu Chi-Hao completed a Diploma of Business and returned to Taiwan to serve in the military.

Ivan from Hong Kong

Advisory Centre for Australian Education (ACAE) assisted me and 3 other family members to fulfill our dreams of furthering our education in Australia.

In 2005, I completed high school in Hong Kong and was not admitted to my preferred tertiary education subjects over there.  Luckily, my cousin Nelson returned to Hong Kong at that time after completed his studies in Australia.  He was thankful to all the assistance ACAE provided him, and he recommended ACAE to me and another cousin, Tiffany.

Upon Nelson’s referral, ACAE brought Tiffany and I along and we were admitted to various bridging courses in Australia.  We would never have thought that there were so many different pave ways we could follow to land ourselves on our dream subjects.  ACAE provided customized study pave ways to us, and demonstrated flexibility in offering their assistance when our situation changes.

Tiffany started her Bachelor Degree at University of Technology early this year, and after my graduation from University of New South Wales (UNSW) early this year ACAE is assisting me to apply for a relevant Master Degree.

My family has built trust with ACAE after all these times and sent my younger sister to Australia to studied English last year with ACAE’s help.  This year she is admitted to UNSW.

ACAE is not only a service provider, they are genuinely caring and they provide expertise advises to suit my personal needs.  I have no hesitation to recommend ACAE to those who are looking forward to furthering their education in Australia.

Yaotao Wu, Parent

To Advisory Centre for Australian Education:

As a parent who has great expectations of my children, I naturally hope that my children can receive the best education in Australia.  Fortunately, with the assistance of the Advisory Centre for Australian, my wish is finally coming true.

Through its help, my eldest daughter first came to Australia to study without any difficulty and eventually entered a famous Australian University.  Then my second son, again through the Advisory Centre, went to New Zealand to further his study.  This year, both my youngest son and my nephew came to Australia smoothly with the help of the Advisory Centre.  They do not only help with obtaining visas, they also provide an impressive follow-up service.  That includes airport pick-up and arranging students’ home stay accommodation.  All these make my children feel quite at home in far away Australia.  In the mean time, materials from the Advisory Centre reached my children regularly, enquiring about the recent progress in their studies.

Whenever my daughter had any queries about her study program, she would go to the Advisory Centre for consultation.  She says the staffs are always helpful and patient.  She holds a special trust towards the Advisory Centre.  Most important of all, the Advisory Centre pays great attention to the children’s living condition.  It organizes a variety of activities, such as excursions to help them learn more about Australian culture.  I hereby sincerely thank the Advisory Centre for helping my children in such a wonderful way.

Zhang Xin Parent, Nov 2008

To Advisory Centre for Australian Education:

In October 2008, my son was admitted into University of New England in Australia via the international exchange program of Harbin Engineering University in China.

Since we only started the application process in August of the same year, the local representative of ACAE, Mr Qi, and all ACAE staff worked closely with us to ensure all application steps, including: collation of supporting documentation, signoff by witnesses, translation, funding, to the final issuance of student visa were conducted in a decent way.

When the student visa was issued, due to the push of time Mr Qi personally showed us how to validate the visa and assisted us to issue air ticket.  The staffs at ACAE negotiated with University of New England that end up offering an extension of enrollment date to my son.  They also arranged accommodation for him upon his arrival.

All these arrangements fit perfectly together.  The staffs at ACAE provided their support in a passionate and responsible fashion.  My son would have started his study at University of New England one semester late if not for the help of ACAE.  ACAE’s efforts saved my son from waiting for another term, and it helped with his academic and mental growth tremendously.

I wholeheartedly thank ACAE for your services.

Meng Hui Qun, Student Parent, Jan 2009

To Advisory Centre for Australian Education:

My child went to Sydney to further his study in 2007 via the international exchange program of Harbin Engineering University in China.  During the application process I received generous support from the staffs of ACAE and their China representative, Mr Qi Jie.  Our expectation as parents were met when ACAE help my child successfully obtaining his student visa and also supported him to adapt to his study and living in Australia within a short period of time.

ACAE demonstrates their 20 plus years of experience helping overseas students and their parents to go through the application process successfully.  I like to praise the fact that, due to ACAE’s head office location in Sydney they arrange airport pick up and local accommodation for my child upon arrival.  This kind of customized service is not something that agencies located in China can achieve.

Being a total stranger in Australia, my child receive warm welcome and support from ACAE, which make him felt like being at home.  I am so glad that I have chosen ACAE to help my child.  More to that, I am thankful that Harbin Engineering University has a partner like ACAE who I trust will also extend the same level of exceptional services to my child’s fellow students.

I wish you all happy New Year and best wishes.
